जूनियर भारतीय हॉकी टीम ने दिसंबर में होने वाले एफआईएच वर्ल्ड कप के लिये क्वॉलीफाई कर लिया. दरअसल एशिया कप 2023 के एक मैच में भारत ने थाईलैंड को 17-0 से शिकस्त दी. और इस टूर्नामेंट के सेमीफ़ाइनल में जगह बना ली. इसी के साथ भारतीय टीम मलेशिया में होने वाले विश्व कप में भी पहुंच गई.
