भारतीय कार कंपनियों के लिए अच्छी ख़बर आई. अब एक अक्टूबर से भारत में भी कार सेफ़्टी रेटिंग मिलेगी. यानी क़रीब डेढ़ महीने बाद कारों के क्रैश टेस्ट भारत में होंगे. केंद्रीय सड़क और परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने दिल्ली में भारतीय एजेंसी BNCAP यानी भारत न्यू कार असेसमेंट प्रोग्राम की शुरुआत की.
