19 मई 2023 को रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए 2000 रुपये के नोट को सर्कुलेशन से बाहर करने का फैसला लिया था. और आज से 2000 के नोट बदलवाने की शुरूआत हो गई. RBI ने लोगों को 2000 रुपये के नोट बदलवाने के लिए 4 महीने का वक्त दिया है. RBI की गाइडलाइंस के मुताबिक लोग 23 मई 2023 से यानी आज से 30 सितंबर 2023 तक 2000 रुपये के नोट बैंक में जाकर बदल सकेंगे. या फिर अपने बैंक खाते में जमा कर सकेंगे. इसके लिए RBI ने बैंकों को दिशा निर्देश भी जारी कर दिए हैं. बैंकों को इसके लिए खास इंतजाम करने का आदेश दिया गया है. लोगों को कम से कम परेशानी हो और वो आसानी से अपने नोट बदल या जमा कर सकें, इसलिए बैंकों को पूरी तैयारी करने को कहा गया है.
On May 19, 2023, taking a big decision, the Reserve Bank of India had decided to take the 2000 rupee note out of circulation. And from today the exchange of 2000 notes has started. RBI has given 4 months time to people to exchange 2000 rupee notes. According to the guidelines of RBI, from 23 May 2023 i.e. from today till 30 September 2023, people will be able to change 2000 rupee notes by going to the bank. Or you can deposit it in your bank account. For this, RBI has also issued guidelines to the banks. Banks have been ordered to make special arrangements for this. Banks have been asked to make complete preparations so that people face minimum hassle and can easily exchange or deposit their notes.
