आज का मुद्दा देश के नाम से जुड़ा है. पिछले दिनों दिल्ली में हुए G20 समिट के दौरान देश का नाम बदलने को लेकर हुई चर्चा ने सबका ध्यान खींचा. ये चर्चा इसलिए हुई क्योंकि समिट के दौरान राष्ट्रपति के न्योते से लेकर प्रधानमंत्री की नेम प्लेट पर इंडिया की जगह भारत लिखा गया. फिलहाल अब स्कूल की किताबों में देश का नाम बदलने की सिफारिश की गई है. ये सिफारिश NCERT यानी नेशनल काउंसिल ऑफ एजुकेशनल रिसर्च एंड ट्रेनिंग की एक हाई लेवल कमेटी ने की है. समिति के चेयरपर्सन C.I आइजैक ने कहा है कि स्कूल पाठ्यक्रम में इंडिया को हटाकर भारत किया जाना चाहिए.
Recently, during the G20 summit held in Delhi, the discussion regarding changing the name of the country attracted everyone's attention. This discussion took place because during the summit, Bharat was written instead of India on the Prime Minister's name plate from the President's invitation. At present, it has been recommended to change the name of the country in school books. This recommendation has been made by a high level committee of NCERT i.e. National Council of Educational Research and Training.
