कौन नहीं चाहता कि उसका बच्चा अच्छे स्कूल में पढ़े. जहां उसको अच्छी तालिम मिले और अच्छा माहौल मिले. लेकिन चाहने भर से क्या होता है. अंग्रेजी मीडियम वाले स्कूलों में दाखिला इतना आसान कहां. मां-बाप को क्या-क्या पापड़ नहीं बेलने पड़ते. जब अच्छी खासी कमाई और कॉन्टेक्ट वाले लोग भी मनचाहे स्कूलों में बच्चे का दाखिला कराने में नाकाम हो जाते हों, तो समझा जा सकता है कि कमजोर तबके के लोगों के लिए ये मंजिल कितनी मुश्किल होगी...हालांकि शिक्षा का अधिकार कानून यानी RTE के तहत ये मुमकिन हुआ कि गरीबों के बच्चे भी बगैर फीस दिए प्राइवेट स्कूलों में पढ़ाई कर सकें. उनके लिए स्कूलों में 25 फीसदी सीटें अनिवार्य करने का प्रावधान है. लेकिन अब इसी कानून के पर्दे में गरीब बच्चों का हक मारने की कोशिश हो रही है.
