ओपी नय्यर का जन्मदिन आज, लता नहीं आशा दीदी से गवाते थे गाने

आज हिंदी सिनेमा के दिग्गज संगीतकार ओ पी नय्यर का जन्मदिन है. 16 जनवरी 1926 को लाहौर में जन्मे ओ पी नय्यर ने 1952 में फिल्म आसमान से अपना करियर शुरू किया था. पचास और साठ के दशक में अपनी धुनों का जादू चलाने वाले ओपी नय्यर एकमात्र ऐसे संगीतकार थे, जिन्होंने अपने पूरे करियर में लता मंगेशकर से कोई गाना नहीं गवाया. ओ पी नय्यर ने अपने ज्यादातर गाने आशा भोसले से गवाए. 28 जनवरी, 2007 को 81 साल की उम्र में ओ पी नैयर ने इस दुनिया को अलविदा कह दिया था.

Today is the birthday of veteran music composer of Hindi cinema OP Nayyar. Born on 16 January 1926 in Lahore, OP Nayyar started his career in 1952 with the film Aasmaan. OP Nayyar, who played the magic of his tunes in the fifties and sixties, was the only musician who did not sing any song with Lata Mangeshkar in his entire career. OP Nayyar sang most of his songs with Asha Bhosle. On January 28, 2007, at the age of 81, OP Nayyar said goodbye to this world.
