आज विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस है. रक्तदान को बढ़ावा देने और रक्तदाता का आभार व्यक्त करने के मकसद से हर साल 14 जून को रक्तदाता दिवस मनाया जाता है. हर साल रक्तदाता दिवस की थीम अलग अलग होती है. इस बार थीम है, रक्त दो, प्लाज्मा दो, जीवन बांटो, बार-बार बांटो. दुनियाभर में इस दिन को मनाने का उद्देश्य जरूरतमंदों को खून उपलब्ध कराना है ताकि खून की कमी से किसी मरीज की जान न जाए.
