देश के दो राज्यों के तटीय इलाकों की तरफ मिचौंग नाम का साइक्लोन तेजी से बढ़ रहा है लेकिन उससे पहले ही समंदर से सटे इलाकों में बारिश और तेज हवाओं ने अपना असर दिखना शुरु कर दिया है. चेन्नई और आसपास के इलाकों में बादल ना केवल बरस रहे हैं बल्कि उन्होने नई मुसीबत खड़ी कर दी है. चक्रवाती तूफान मिचौंग कल अपनी पूरी रफ्तार से तट से टकराने वाला है. कई इलाकों में हाई अलर्ट भी जारी किया गया. स्कूल-कॉलेज बंद कर दिए गए हैं. चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट भी पानी से लबालब है. लोगों को घर से बाहर न आने की सलाह दी गई है.
