आंध्र प्रदेश के पूर्व सीएम किरण रेड्डी ने कांग्रेस को झटका दिया और वो बीजेपी में शामिल हो गए. उन्हें दिल्ली में एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान संसदीय कार्यमंत्री प्रल्हाद जोशी ने पार्टी की सदस्यता दिलाई. वहीं किरण रेड्डी ने कांग्रेस पर निशाना साधा और कहा कि उन्होंने कभी ये नहीं सोचा था कि उन्हें कांग्रेस छोड़नी पड़ेगी. बीजेपी में शामिल होने के बाद किरण रेड्डी ने पार्टी अध्यक्ष जे.पी.नड्डा से मुलाक़ात की.
