उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में महारूद्राभिषेक की शुरूआत हुई. ये पांच दिवसीय अनुष्ठान के तहत हो रहा है. इसमें देश और प्रदेश में अच्छी बारिश की कामना की जा रही है. पहले दिन खुद उज्जैन कलक्टर पत्नी के साथ यजमान बने. यहां महाकाल पर सहस्त्र जलधारा प्रवाहित की जा रही है. इस दौरान मंदिर के 16 पुजारी 22 पुरोहित सहित 55 पंडित नंदीहाल में रूद्राभिषेक का पाठ कर रहे हैं. रोजाना ये पाठ होगा. महारुद्राभिषेक की पूर्णाहुति 27 जून को भावनात्मक अनुष्ठान के साथ होगी. कलेक्टर आशीष सिंह ने बताय ये अनुष्ठान 23 से 27 जून तक चलेगा.
