दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर शत-प्रतिशत होगा ग्रीन एनर्जी का इस्तेमाल, ऐसा करने वाला दूसरा हवाई अड्डा बनेगा

दिल्ली इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट देश का पहला ऐसा हवाई अड्डा बनने जा रहा है जहां शत प्रतिशत ग्रीन एनर्जी का इस्तेमाल होगा। दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर 94 प्रतिशत हाइड्रो इलेक्ट्रिक और 6 प्रतिशत सौर ऊर्जा के जरिए बिजली की सप्लाई होगी. ये देश का पहला एयरपोर्ट है जहा पूरी तरह से हाइड्रो और ग्रीन दोनो एनर्जी प्लांट लगाए गए है. इस प्रोजेक्ट पर लगातार पिछले 5 साल से काम चल रहा था और अब ये कोशिश रंग ला रही है कि इस एयरपोर्ट पर पूरी तरह से ग्रीन एनर्जी का इस्तेमाल हो. दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर 2030 तक शून्य प्रतिशत कार्बन उत्सर्जन का लक्ष्य हासिल करने की भी तैयारी की जा रही है. इसके लिए यहां इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल का भी इस्तेमाल होगा.
