भारतीय सेना महज सरहज की हिफाज़त ही नहीं करती. देश के विकास में भी अहम योगदान देती है. चाहे मोर्चा सेहत का हो. रोज़गार का हो. या टूरिज्म का. सरहदी इलाकों में सेना लोगों की मदद करती नज़र आती है. उन्हें मजबूत करती नज़र आती है. जम्मू-कश्मीर से लेकर नॉर्थ ईस्ट तक सेना सरहदी इलाकों में कई डेवलपमेंट प्रोजेक्टस चला रही है. युवाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बना रही है. उनमें खेल भावना भर रही है. सेना की शौर्य संस्कृति से भी उन्हें रू-ब-रू करा रही है.
