दुश्मनों से देश की हिफ़ाजत के लिए वॉरशिप महेंद्रगिरी आज समंदर में उतर गया. उपराष्ट्रपति की मौजूदगी में उनकी पत्नी ने इस युद्धपोत को लॉन्च किया. ये जंगी जहाज अपनी बनावट से लेकर क्षमता तक कई खासियतों से भरा है. सबसे बड़ी ख़ासियत तो यही कि ये 75 फ़ीसदी स्वदेशी है और दुश्मनों की नज़र में आए बिना उसपर हमला करने में सक्षम है.
