जम्मू-कश्मीर के बांदीपोरा का एक गांव भारत का सबसे बड़ा बुक विलेज बनने की तैयारी मुकम्मल कर चुका है. जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार के साथ मिलकर एक गैर सरकारी संस्था इस गांव को किताबों का सबसे बड़ा हब बनाने जा रही है. पुणे की एक गैर सरकारी संस्था सरहद ने आरागम गांव में बहुत बड़ी लाइब्रेरी बनाने की सारी तैयारी पूरी कर ली है. गैर सरकारी संस्था सरहद जम्मू-कश्मीर की सरकार के साथ मिलकर इस नेक पहले में जुटी हुई है. जिला प्रशासन को बुक विलेज का प्रस्ताव सौंप कर सरहद ने मंथन का काम भी पूरा कर लिया है.
A village in Bandipora of Jammu and Kashmir has completed preparations to become India's largest book village. Sarhad, a non-governmental organization of Pune, has completed all the preparations to build a huge library in Aaragam village. NGO Sarhad is engaged in this noble initiative in collaboration with the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. By handing over the proposal of Book Village to the district administration, Sarhad has also completed the work of brainstorming.
