ओडिशा की चिल्का झील में इन दिनों प्रवासी परिंदों की बहार है. खास बात ये है कि इस साल पिछली बार के मुकाबले यहां ज्यादा प्रवासी पक्षी आए हैं. चिल्का झील, एशिया की सबसे बड़ी खारे पानी की झील है. यह झील ओडिशा के पुरी, गंजम और खोरदा जिलों में लगभग 1 हजार 100 वर्ग किलोमीटर क्षेत्र में फैली हुई है. 2023 में इस झील में 184 प्रजातियों के 11,31, 929 पक्षी आए जबकि 2022 में 10,74,000 प्रवासी पक्षी आए थे, 2021 में रिकॉर्ड संख्या में 12,42,826 पक्षी चिल्का आए. इसी तरह 2020 में 11,05,040 पक्षी यहां आए थे. देखिए रिपोर्ट
