नोएडा में स्पोर्ट्स सिटी बसाने के लिए साल 2010-11 में डेवलपर्स को 180 एकड़ जमीन दी गई थी. स्पोर्ट्स सिटी प्रोजेक्ट से जुड़ी ये जमीन नोएडा के सेक्टर 78, 79 और 101 में दी गई थी. इस प्रोजेक्ट में कई बिल्डर्स को शामिल किया गया था, जिन्हें रेजिडेंशियल सोसाइटी के साथ ही खेल सुविधाओं पर भी काम करना था, लेकिन ज्यादातर बिल्डर्स ने रिहायशी टावर तो खड़े कर दिए लेकिन खेल सुविधाओं पर काम नहीं किया. जमीन अलॉट किए जाने के करीब 12 साल बाद भी स्पोर्ट्स सिटी प्रोजेक्ट पूरा नहीं होने पर नोएडा अथॉरिटी ने नोटिस जारी किया है. ये नोटिस प्रोजेक्ट के मेन डेवलपर 3C ग्रीन डेवलपर्स समेत प्रोजेक्ट में शामिल 12 अन्य बिल्डर्स को भी भेजा गया है.
In the year 2010-11, developers were given 180 acres of land to set up Sports City in Noida. This land related to the Sports City project was given in Sectors 78, 79 and 101 of Noida. Many builders were involved in this project, who had to work on sports facilities along with the residential society, but most of the builders erected residential towers but did not work on sports facilities. The Noida Authority has issued a notice for not completing the Sports City project even after nearly 12 years of allotting the land. This notice has also been sent to 12 other builders involved in the project including 3C Green Developers, the main developer of the project.
