Delhi's Tihar, Mandoli and Rohini are the three jails where hot water facilities will be provided to the prisoners for bathing and washing. According to sources, all prisoners above 65 years of age will also be given a mattress. At present all the prisoners are given a wooden cot and a mat to sleep on. Sources told that the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena took this decision during the review meeting for the jails.
