महाराष्ट्र के सांगली जिले स्थित मिरज शहर में बने सितार-तानपुरा को जीआई टैग मिला है. इन वाद्ययंत्रों को GI टैग मिलने के बाद अब वही मिरज दुनिया के नक्शे पर आ गया है. अब मिरज में बने सितार और तानपुरा को दुनिया के किसी भी हिस्से में बैठकर पहचाना जा सकेगा.
Sitar-Tanpura made in Miraj city located in Sangli district of Maharashtra has got GI tag. After these musical instruments got the GI tag, now the same Miraj has come on the world map.
