जम्मू-कश्मीर में मशहूर खीर भवानी मंदिर में लगने वाले मेले के लिए जम्मू से करीब 4 हजार श्रद्धालुओं का जत्था रवाना हुआ. 125 बसों में सवार होकर श्रद्धालु खीर भवानी मेले के लिए रवाना हुए. इस दौरान श्रद्धालुओं का उत्साह देखते ही बन रहा था. भजन-कीर्तन करते हुए श्रद्धालु खीर भवानी मेले के लिए रवाना हुए. कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के बीच इस तीर्थ यात्रा का आयोजन किया जा रहा है. रवाना होने से पहले बसों में कड़ी चेकिंग भी की गई. खीर भवानी मंदिर में 28 मई को ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल अष्टमी पर बड़ा मेला लगने वाला है. इससे पहले, कल उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा ने खीर भवानी मंदिर जाकर पूजा-अर्चना की और वहां मेले के इंतजामों का जायजा लिया.
