यूपी विधानसभा के बजट सत्र में 'उत्तर प्रदेश लिफ्ट और एस्केलेटर एक्ट 2024 ध्वनि मत से पारित हो गया है. बीते दिनों लिफ्ट में हादसों की तादाद बढ़ने के बाद यूपी में इसे लेकर ठोस कानून की मांग होती रही है अब ये विधेयक विधान परिषद में जाएगा. लिफ्ट और एस्केलेटर एक्ट में कड़े प्रावधान किए गए हैं. जिसके तहत अब बिना रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिफ्ट का संचालन नहीं होगा. पहले से लगी लिफ्ट और एस्केलेटर के लिए 6 महीने की समय सीमा में आवेदन करना जरूरी होगा. दुर्घटना की स्थिति में AMC यानी एन्युअल मेंटनेंस करने वाली कंपनी या एजेंसी की जिम्मेदारी होगी.
'Uttar Pradesh Lift and Escalator Act 2024' has been passed by voice vote in the budget session of UP Assembly. After the increase in the number of accidents in lifts in the past, there has been a demand for a concrete law regarding this in UP, now this bill will go to the Legislative Council. Strict provisions have been made in the Lift and Escalator Act.
