अब बात सदियों से भारत की समृद्ध संस्कृति का अटूट हिस्सा रही 'मां गंगा' की. गंगा को साफ, स्वच्छ और अविरल बनाए रखने के लिए केंद्र सरकार का मिशन 'नमामि गंगे' जारी है. हालांकि गंगा को निर्मल बनाए रखना सिर्फ सरकार की ही जिम्मेदारी नहीं है. आम लोगों का योगदान भी जरूरी है. इसी मकसद के साथ वाराणसी पुलिस प्रशासन ने गंगा नदी में मोटर बोट यात्रा निकाली.
This journey was started with the aim of making people aware about the holy river Ganges. When more than two dozen motorboats decorated with balloons started their journey between Assi Ghat to Dashashwamedh Ghat, a large number of people were present to cheer them on the banks of the Ganges.
