औरंगाबाद में एक ही पहाड़ी पर 52 मंदिरों की श्रृंखला से भक्तों की आस्था जुड़ी है. हर एक मंदिर अपने आप में खास है. औरंगाबाद से करीब 30 किलोमीटर दूर उमगा पहाड़ी भक्तों की आस्था का केंद्र है. इस पहाड़ी का हर कोना श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बेहद खास है. यहां पौराणिक सूर्य मंदिर है, मां उमंगेश्वरी, भगवान शिव, माता पार्वती और भगवान गणेश की दुर्लभ मूर्तियां विराजमान हैं. उमगा पर्वत पर भगवान सूर्य का ये अद्भुत विशालकाय मंदिर बरसों के गौरवशाली इतिहास को अपने अंदर समेटे हुए है. जमीन से करीब 100 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बना ये मंदिर कला और शिल्प की अद्वितीय मिसाल है. मंदिर के सौंदर्य के लिए प्रकृति हमेशा तैयार दिखती है. पूरा मंदिर हरी भरी पहाड़ी से घिरा हुआ है.
The faith of the devotees is attached to a chain of 52 temples on a single hill in Aurangabad. Each temple is special in itself. Umga hill, about 30 km from Aurangabad, is the center of faith of the devotees. Every corner of this hill is very special for the devotees. Here is the mythological Sun Temple, there are rare idols of Maa Umangeshwari, Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati and Lord Ganesha. This wonderful giant temple of Lord Surya on Umga mountain has a glorious history of years. This temple, built at a height of about 100 feet above the ground, is a unique example of art and craft. Nature always looks ready for the beauty of the temple. The whole temple is surrounded by green hills.
