जम्मू-कश्मीर में वर्ल्ड मिल्क डे मनाया गया. इस दौरान दूध और उससे बने सामानों के अलावा दूसरे ऑर्गेनिक और एग्रो-प्रॉडक्ट्स की नुमाइश की गई. इस कार्यक्रम का मकसद प्रदेश में पशुपालन को बढ़ावा देना है. इसके लिए कार्यक्रम में उद्यमियों को डेरी फार्मिंग से जुड़ी नई योजनाओं और प्रौद्योगिकी की भी जानकारी दी गई, ताकि वे उसका फायदा उठा सकें. इस मौके पर श्रीनगर के शेर-ए-कश्मीर अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन केंद्र में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया. कार्यक्रम में उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा, केंद्रीय मत्स्य पशुपालन और डेयरी मंत्री परषोत्तम रूपाला, केंद्रीय मत्स्य पशुपालन और डेयरी राज्य मंत्री संजीव कुमार बालियान और केंद्रीय मत्स्य पशुपालन और डेयरी और सूचना और प्रसारण राज्य मंत्री ड़ॉ. एल मुरूगन शामिल हुए.
World Milk Day was celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir. During this, apart from milk and its products, other organic and agro-products were displayed.
