गंगा दशहरा पर बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु हरिद्वार में हर की पौड़ी पर गंगा स्नान के लिए पहुंचे. देश भर से श्रद्धालु यहां पहुंचे हैं. ऐसी मान्यता है कि आज के दिन गंगा स्नान से मोक्ष की कामना के साथ दस तरह के पापों से भी पा मुक्ति मिलती है। आज गंगा दशहरा का स्नान पर्व है और आज ही के दिन माँ गंगा का धरती पर अवतरण हुआ था.
On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, a large number of devotees reached Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar to bathe in the Ganges. Devotees from all over the country have reached here. It is a belief that bathing in the Ganges on this day gives freedom from ten kinds of sins along with the desire for salvation. Today is the bathing festival of Ganga Dussehra and on this day mother Ganga descended on earth.
