मुंबई में इस बार इकोफ्रेंडली गणेशोत्सव मनाने की तैयारी है. बीएमसी की ओर से इकोफ्रेंडली मूर्तियां बनाने को कहा गया है. जिसका पालन भी हो रहा है. ज्यादातर पंडालों में महाराष्ट्र की साड़ू मिट्टी से बने गणपति विराज रहे हैं. वहीं इस बार एलाफ़िन्स्टन के राजा गणेश पंडाल में गणपति की मूर्ति काग़ज़ से बनाई गई है.
