ओडिशा के संबलपुर में शीतल षष्ठी का पर्व धूमधाम से मनाया गया. इस दौरान भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती की बारात की शोभा यात्रा और शानदार झांकियां निकाली गईं. शोभायात्रा में भारी संख्या में लोग भरपूर हर्षोल्लास के साथ नाचते-गाते हुए शामिल हुए. केंद्रीय मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान भी इस कार्यक्रम में पहुंचे और भक्ति भाव से पूजा-अर्चना की. उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे ओडिशा में सभी जगहों पर शीतल षष्ठी का उत्सव मनाया गया है. ये सद्भावना का पर्व है. हमारा सौभाग्य है कि हम इस यात्रा में शामिल हुए हैं. हर साल मई या जून में हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार शुक्ल पक्ष की षष्ठी तिथि को यह पर्व मनाया जाता है.
The festival of Sheetal Shashthi was celebrated with pomp in Sambalpur, Odisha. During this procession of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati's marriage procession and magnificent tableaux were taken out.
