इस चंद्रग्रहण के बारे में जो साल का आखिरी चंद्रग्रहण होगा. चंद्र ग्रहण तीन तरह के होते हैं पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण, आंशिक और उपच्छाया. खंडग्रास चंद्र ग्रहण को आंशिक चंद्र ग्रहण भी कहा जाता है. जब पृथ्वी की छाया चंद्रमा के कुछ भाग पर पड़ती है तो इसे खंडग्रास यानि आंशिक चंद्र ग्रहण कहते हैं. इस ग्रहण में धार्मिक महत्व होता है,इसलिए इसका सूतक मान्य होता है.
