तिलभांडेश्वर महादेव शिवलिंग के बारे में मान्यता है कि ये स्वयंभू शिवलिंग है. ऋषि विभांड यहीं पर शिव पूजा करते थे. भगवान ने उनके तप से प्रसन्न होकर वरदान दिया था कि ये शिवलिंग हर साल तिल के बराबर बढ़ता रहेगा।
There is a belief about Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev Shivling that it is self-manifested Shivling. Rishi Vibhand used to worship Shiva here. Pleased with his tenacity, God had given him a boon that this Shivling would grow equal to a mole every year.
