ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है कि भारत का ऑस्कर के लिए तीन नॉमिनेशंस में नाम आया है. इनमें बेस्ट ओरिजिनल सॉन्ग कैटेगरी में नाटू नाटू का जलवा कायम है. RRR के लोकप्रिय तेलुगु गाने नाटू नाटू के लिए ये तीसरा प्रमुख अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नॉमिनेशन है. इसके अलावा बेस्ट डॉक्यूमेंट्री फीचर फिल्म कैटेगरी में शौनक सेन की 'All that breathes' शामिल है. वहीं बेस्ट डॉक्यूमेंट्री शॉर्ट फिल्म कैटेगरी में The Elephant Whisperers को जगह मिली है.
This is the first time that India has been named in three nominations for the Oscars. Among them, Natu Natu continues to dominate in the Best Original Song category. This is the third major international nomination for RRR's popular Telugu song Naatu Naatu. Apart from this, Shaunak Sen's 'All that breathes' is included in the Best Documentary Feature Film category. On the other hand, The Elephant Whisperers has got a place in the Best Documentary Short Film category.
