इंडियन नेवी को आज मिलेगा तारागिरी युद्धपोत, एडवांस फीचर्स से है लैस

11 सितंबर यानी आज भारतीय नौसेना के स्वदेशी स्टील्थ फ्रिगेट 'तारागिरी' की लॉन्चिंग होने वाली है. इसे प्रोजेक्ट P-17A फ्रिगेट के तहत बनाया गया है. इस युद्धपोत का नाम गढ़वाल में स्थित हिमालय की पहाड़ी श्रृंखला के नाम पर रखा गया है. इस पर ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल की भी तैनाती हो सकती है. तारागिरी युद्धपोत में एंटी-सबमरीन वॉरफेयर के लिए 2 ट्रिपल टॉरपीडो ट्यूब्स भी हैं, जो दुश्मर को ढेर करने के लिए काफी हैं.

The excitement of the grand commissioning of INS Vikrant is not over yet and the country is going to witness the launch of the indigenous stealth frigate 'Taragiri' of the Indian Navy on 11 September i.e. today. The warship 'Taragiri' weighs 3510 tonnes. Taragiri has been designed by the Indian Navy's in-house Bureau of Naval Design. The 149 m long and 17.8 m wide ship will be powered by a combination of two gas turbines and two main diesel engines.
