भाद्रपद शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी को परिवर्तिनी एकादशी कहा जाता है. इसको पद्मा एकादशी और जयंती एकादशी भी कहा जाता है. इस एकादशी का व्रत करने से जाने अनजाने किये गए सारे पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं. इस लोक में भौतिक सम्पन्नता और परलोक में मुक्ति की प्राप्ति होती है.
Ekadashi of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha is called Parivartini Ekadashi. It is also called Padma Ekadashi and Jayanti Ekadashi. By fasting on this Ekadashi, all the sins committed knowingly or unknowingly are destroyed. One attains material prosperity in this world and salvation in the next world.
