कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में महज हिंदुस्तान के एथलिट्स, वेटलिफ्टर, टेबल टेनिस प्लेयर और जूडो खिलाड़ियों ने धाकड़ प्रदर्शन नहीं किया है बल्कि 24 साल बाद CWG में खेल रही भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम का शानदार प्रदर्शन जारी है. भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम ने अपने तीसरे मुकाबले में बारबाडोस की टीम को 100 रन से करारी मात दी. इस जीत के बाद भारतीय टीम सेमीफाइनल में पहुंच गई है. उधर हॉकी में भी टीम इंडिया ने जोरदार खेल दिखाया है. भारतीय पुरूष हॉकी टीम ने कनाडा को 8-0 से हरा दिया. पूल-बी के इस मैच में भारतीय टीम ने कनाडा को आसानी से हरा दिया.
