कतर में चल रहे फीफा विश्वकप का खुमार भारत में भी छाया हुआ है. कतर से 2,946 किलोमीटर दूर केरल के कुन्नूर जिले में फुटबॉल के दिग्गज खिलाड़ी रह चुके डिआगो माराडोना की एक विशालकाय मूर्ति तैयार की गई है. यह केरल में माराडोना की सबसे बड़ी मूर्ति है. मूर्तिकार एन मनोज कुमार ने इस मूर्ति को बनाया है.
