दूरदर्शन ने अपने रंगीन प्रसारण के 41 साल पूरे कर लिए. इस पर सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय ने एक वीडियो भी ट्वीट किया.. 25 अप्रैल 1982 को दूरदर्शन ने अपना रंगीन प्रसारण शुरू किया था. उससे पहले दूरदर्शन पर ब्लैक एंड वाइट में ही प्रसारण होता था. वैसे भारत में दूरदर्शन की शुरुआत 15 सितंबर 1959 को हुई थी.
Doordarshan completed 41 years of its color broadcast. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting also tweeted a video on this. On 25 April 1982, Doordarshan started its color telecast. Before that, Doordarshan used to telecast in black and white only. By the way, Doordarshan was started in India on 15 September 1959.
