ट्विटर ने अपने ब्लू टिक पर एक बड़ा फ़ैसला लिया. अब उन यूज़र्स के अकाउंट से ब्लू टिक हटने शुरू हो जाएंगे. जिन्होंने सब्सक्रिप्शन नहीं लिया है यानी जो लोग फ़्री में इस सेवा का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं. उन्हें पैसे देने ज़रूरी होंगे, तभी उनका ब्लू टिक जारी रह पाएगा. ट्विटर इस नियम को एक अप्रैल से लागू कर देगी. उसने अपने प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर इसका ऐलान भी कर दिया.
