गाड़ी चलाने वालों के लिए एक जरूरी खबर, जिससे सड़कों पर हादसों से बचाव में मदद मिलेगी. सरकार ने कारों में 6 एयर बैग अनिवार्य करने का फैसला किया है. केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन मंत्रालय ने इस सिलसिले में ड्राफ़्ट नोटीफिकेशन जारी किया है. सरकार के फैसले के मुताबिक मिड रेंज कार में यानी 3 लाख से 7-8 लाख तक कीमत वाली कारों में 6 एयर बैग जरूरी होंगे. अभी कारों के लिए 2 एयरबैग्स का नियम अनिवार्य है. लेकिन, सरकार चाहती है कि सिर्फ महंगी नहीं बल्कि मिड रेंज कार में भी एयर बैग्स जैसे सेफ्टी फीचर्स अनिवार्य हों, लिहाजा 6 एयरबैग लगाने का फैसला किया गया है.
