OTT प्लेटफॉर्म 'नेटफ्लिक्स' ने भारत में आज (20 जुलाई) से पासवर्ड शेयरिंग पर रोक लगा दी है. अब नेटफ्लिक्स यूजर्स अपने दोस्तों के साथ अपने अकाउंट का पासवर्ड शेयर नहीं कर सकेंगे. हालांकि, यूजर्स अभी भी अपने परिवार के सदस्यों के साथ OTT प्लेटफॉर्म का पासवर्ड शेयर कर सकते हैं. कंपनी ने बताया कि उसने आज से ऐसे मौजूदा यूजर्स को मेल भेजना शुरू किया है, जो पहले से दूसरों के साथ पासवर्ड शेयर कर रहे हैं. इससे पहले कंपनी ने मई महीने में ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस, जर्मनी, आस्ट्रिया, सिंगापुर, मैक्सिको सहित 100 से अधिक देशों में पासवर्ड शेयरिंग पर रोक लगा दी थी.
OTT platform 'Netflix' has banned password sharing in India from today (July 20). Now Netflix users will not be able to share their account password with their friends. However, users can still share the password of the OTT platform with their family members. The company told that from today it has started sending mail to such existing users, who are already sharing passwords with others. Earlier in May, the company had banned password sharing in more than 100 countries including Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Singapore, Mexico.
