भारतीय बिजनेसमैन फिरोज मर्चेंट ने UAE की जेलों में बंद भारतीय कैदियों को छुड़ाने के लिए करीब ढाई करोड़ रुपये का दान दिया है. इस मदद राशि से संयुक्त अरब अमीरात की जेलो में बंद कैदियों में से करीब 900 कैदियों को रिहा किया जाएगा. पिछले कुछ सालों में फिरोज ने करीब 20 हजार से ज्यादा कैदियों की रिहाई करवाई है. फिरोज मर्चेंट जेल में बंद कैदियों का ना सिर्फ कर्ज चुकाते हैं. बल्कि, उनके भारत आने की भी व्यवस्था करते हैं.
