UN में एक बार फिर पाकिस्तान की पोल खुल गई. POK में बिगड़ते मानवाधिकार के हालात पर वहां के राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने ये मुद्दा संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद की बैठक में उठाया. ये बैठक स्विट्ज़रलैंड के जेनेवा में हुई. जिसमें ये बताया गया कि गिलगित बाल्टिस्तान में पाकिस्तान सरकार आतंकियों के ज़रिए आम लोगों पर हमले करवा रही है. खासकर छात्रों पर, क्योंकि वो अपने मौलिक अधिकार की मांग कर रहे हैं. वहीं POK के इन राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने ये भी कहा कि वहां कई किताबों और नक्शों पर बैन लगा दिया गया है और लोगों को उनके इतिहास के बारे में पढ़ने की इजाज़त नहीं है.
