कंगाली के कगार पर खड़े पाकिस्तान में जरूरी सामानों की गंभीर किल्लत का खतरा पैदा हो गया है. विदेशों से माल लेकर पाकिस्तानी बंदरगाहों पर पहुंचे 9000 से अधिक कंटेनर फंस गए है. क्योंकि पाकिस्तान के पास इन कंटेनरों के बदले चुकाने के लिए पैसे नहीं है. जानकारों का मानना है कि इससे पाकिस्तान में महंगाई और भुखमरी की समस्या और ज्यादा बढ़ सकती है. पाकिस्तान के सेंट्रल बैंक के पास महज 4.4 बिलियन डॉलर का विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार है. जिसमें सिर्फ तीन हफ्ते के लिए जरूरी वस्तुओं का आयात किया जाता सकता है.
