अमेरिका में भारतीय मूल के विवेक रामास्वामी ने राष्ट्रपति चुनाव के लिए अपनी दावेदारी छोड़ दी. दरअसल उन्हें पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉनल्ड ट्रंप से पार्टी के आंतरिक चुनाव में शिकस्त मिली, जिसके बाद उन्होंने दावेदारी छोड़ने का ऐलान कर दिया. साथ ही रामास्वामी ने चुनाव में ट्रंप से समर्थन का वादा किया.
