भारतीय वायुसेना की ताकत में और इजाफा होने जा रहा है. वायुसेना को अब नए परिवहन एयरक्राफ्ट मिलने वाले हैं. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की सुरक्षा संबंधी समिति ने भारतीय वायुसेना के लिए सी-295एमडब्ल्यू परिवहन विमान की खरीद को मंजूरी दी है. भारत इसके तहत स्पेन से 56 विमान खरीदेगा.
In a major decision, the Cabinet Committee on Security on Wednesday approved the procurement of 56 C-295 medium transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force to replace its ageing Avro planes which were first inducted around 60 years ago.
