सबसे पहले बात महाकाल कॉरिडोर की जिसका पहला चरण बनकर तैयार हो चुका है. और अब इसका उद्घाटन 11 अक्टूबर को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी करेंगे. लोकार्पण से पहले राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने उज्जैन पहुंचकर कॉरिडोर के पहले चरण का जायजा लिया. बताया जा रहा है कि उज्जैन का महाकाल कॉरिडोर यूपी के काशी विश्वनाथ कॉरिडोर से चार गुना बड़ा है.
