महान वैष्णव संत रामानुजाचार्य की 216 फीट ऊंची अलौकिक प्रतिमा बनकर तैयार है. शनिवार को वसंत पंचमी के शुभ अवसर पर देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इस विशाल प्रतिमा का अनावरण करने वाले हैं. प्रधानमंत्री के स्वागत की तैयारियां पूरी हो चुकी हैं. मंदिर परिसर में सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है. हैदराबाद के करीब शमशाबाद में संत रामानुजाचार्य की इस प्रतिमा को स्टैच्यू ऑफ इक्वैलिटी का नाम दिया गया है. इस प्रतिमा में ऐसी कई खूबियां हैं जो इसे बेहद खास बना देती हैं. इस प्रतिमा के विशाल आकार पर सभी की नज़रें टिक जाती हैं. बैठी हुई मुद्रा में ये देश की दूसरी सबसे ऊंची प्रतिमा है.
