पिथौरागढ़: न दहेज..न शराब...न जश्न, सादगी के साथ कराई जाएगी शादी

कार्यक्रम में आज सबसे पहले हम आपको नए भारत की नई सोच दिखाने जा रहे हैं. एक ऐसा भारत जो नई परपंराएं बना रहा है. ऐसी ही एक कोशिश उत्तराखंड के पिथौरागढ़ में हुई है और इसमें पिथौरागढ़ के 6 गांव शामिल हैं. दरअसल इन गांव ने शादी ब्याह को सादे तरीके से मनाने का फैसला किया है. ना तो डीजे बजेगा. ना शराब परोसी जाएगी. दहेज को भी नकार दिया गया है. दुल्हा दुल्हन को शगुन के तौर पर केवल 1 रुपया दिया जाएगा और मुंह भी टॉफी से मीठा कराया जाएगा. मतलब फिजूलखर्च बंद और पूरा ध्यान अपने सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों को सहेजने पर रहेगा.
