भारत के खिलाड़ियों ने आज़ादी के अमृत वर्ष में हुए कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स में देश के लिए मेडल्स की बरसात कर दी. कॉमनवेल्थ 2022 में भारत ने 22 गोल्ड, 16 सिल्वर और 23 ब्रॉन्ज के साथ कुल 61 मेडल अपने नाम किए हैं. एक ही दिन में पांच गोल्ड जीतकर सुनहरा संडे मनाने के बाद कॉमनवेल्थ खेलों के आखिरी दिन भारत ने 4 गोल्ड मेडल जीते. कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स के आखिरी दिन देश को पहला मेडल गोल्डन गर्ल पीवी सिंधू ने दिलवाया.
