भारतीय नौसेना की ताकत में इजाफा, सौंपी गई कलवरी श्रेणी की पनडुब्बी

भारतीय नौसेना ने मंगलवार को बताया कि प्रोजेक्ट 75 की पांचवी कलवरी श्रेणी की पनडुब्बी यार्ड 11879 आज नौसेना को सौंप दी गई. अधिकारियों ने बताया, प्रोजेक्ट 75 के तहत स्कॉर्पीन डिजाइन की छह पनडुब्बियों का स्वदेशी निर्माण शामिल है. इन पनडुब्बियों का निर्माण मैसर्स नेवल ग्रुप, फ्रांस के सहयोग से मझगांव डॉक शिपबिल्डर्स लिमिटेड मुंबई में किया जा रहा है.

The Indian Navy said on Tuesday that Yard 11879, the fifth Kalvari class submarine of Project 75, was handed over to the Navy today. Officials said, indigenous construction of six submarines of Scorpene design is included under Project 75. These submarines are being built at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited Mumbai in collaboration with M/s Naval Group, France.
