हमारे जवान हर हाल में जिंदगी की हिफाजत करना जानते हैं. लद्दाख कुदरती खूबसूरती का खजाना है. यही वजह है कि बड़ी संख्या में सैलानी वहां खिंचे चले आते हैं. इन दिनों भी सैलानियों का वहां जमावड़ा लगा हुआ है. ऐसे में बीते दिनों वहां पहुंचे कुछ सैलानी 17 हजार 688 फीट की ऊंचाई पर चांग ला पास में फंस गए. रात के वक्त घुप अंधेरा और सर्द हवाएं थीं. आसमान में बादलों का डेरा और दूर तक लगी गाड़ियों की लंबी कतार. सड़क के दोनों तरफ बर्फ के टीले बने हुए थे. यानी न तो सैलानी गाड़ी के अंदर रूक सकते थे और ना ही बाहर निकल पा रहे थे. ऐसे मुश्किल वक्त में वहां फंसे लोगों ने सेना से मदद की गुहार लगाई. सभी को सुरक्षित निकालने के बाद इन जवानों ने बीमार और बुजुर्गों को अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया. ये तस्वीरें 25 और 26 मई की रात की है.
